In the 2015 earthquake, the existing building was completely demolished to the ground. The resort then underwent an extensive rehabilitation and architectural upgrade to rebuild, strengthen, and redefine the property.

The redevelopment focused on rehabilitation, structural strengthening and a complete architectural upgrade according to the site and its natural context.

Guided by the surrounding landscape and the serene views that define the property, the new design intentionally departs from the concept of a single big roof. Instead, it introduces a deliberate hierarchy of roofs and railings, each element shaped by the contours, textures and visual rhythm of the environment.

This layered architectural expression is articulated through slanted roof profiles, inclined railings and angled window compositions. Together, these features establish a distinctive exterior character and a cohesive architectural identity that strengthens the resort’s relationship to its natural setting.
